One of my personal favorites! This ad employs the music of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". You probably will recognize it; it's been in many movies, usually at some particularly scary part. This ad is basically a bunch of guys running around on a field in choir robes singing about how big the beer ad is. Pretty self explanatory. The music is used to instill a sense of grandeur in the listener, and to further drive the point home that this is a really big ad. Enjoy =)
And here is the original, if you care.

Thanks Katrina. This ad is hilarious, and it not only demonstrates a typical use of classical music in an ad directed at a less-than-culturally-sophisticated audience, it also pokes fun at the amount of money and effort that goes into producing ads these days. Good choice.
Other comments, anyone? By the way, Katrina, do you know where this was shot? Something tells me New Zealand.

Wow, it is a classic add. For the first few seconds, I could not even tell if this ad was for a beer. Not only the music is classical, but I think the place of shooting; open area surronded with mountains, is also cool. I think the rugged mountains and the vast plains in the ad gives us a hint this might be shot in New Zealand.
I remember seeing this a while back and I could never understand the words. The subtitles help. It is a funny ad. The scenery looks very Lord Of he Rings. That was shot in New Zealand...
"This better sell some bloody beer!" Classic.
PRICELESS!!! Awesome Big Expensive AD. I noticed that there were males only and that even the figure they "drew" out was a man. This ad was mostly for men but what about women? Women drink beer as well so why doesn't this appeal to women? The robes and the classical music was an interesting touch. The setting was kind of like a battle field. It links the relationship of men and war. Its kind of ironic because the men are not fighting but instead joining together. :P
This ad is awesome; good choice Katrina. It must have taken a lot of time and coordination to get everything to work out so perfectly. The ad is ironic and funny because the music being used in the ad and the product that they are trying to sell are generally appreciated by two very different types of people, but that's sort of stereotypical.
This is really funny ad, at the beginning, i can not believe that is the ad about beer, because it seems like they are having a war between two groups of people. but when i saw the last, i just feel amazing! and the music in this ad are really cool, i think it just using the music in right place, because the classical music makes that ad feel much stronge.
